Hi,
I've a question about connecting vb.net application to sqlexpress Database that is used by a website??
I tried to connect application to it but i had the following error:

System.data.sqlclient.sqlexception: cannot open Database: "data base name" requested by the login the login failed,

The problem is that i want both applications to work in paralles cause i need this vb.net windows application to work as a task to check databasevalues and i want website torun all the time..


I really need help in this, and i've read all related topics and no one help me to figure out my problem.

Could you provide more information about your case, for example, how many machines there are in your case? Which machine is 64-bit? Could you please paste the whole exception (include the inner exception).
