Is it possible to add the Chart controls to VB Express edition?

I have downloaded everything and followed the installation instructions and everything seems to work (I can create a new Windows Form application and get a chart onto it ok).

What I am having a problem with is accessing the Samples, when I try to load them I get a message saying that they cannot be opened because its project type is not supported by this version of the application.

Any guidance you can give me before I go too far is much appreciated.

Yes you can. Just add the charting controls to your toolbox and go to town.

I have added the chart controls to the toolbox, and everything seems to work OK as I can create a form and place a chart onto it now.

I was hoping to use the samples to give me some guidance on how to use the various charts especially using them to display keyed in / calculated data, however when I try to load them I get a message saying that they cannot be opened because its project type is not supported by this version of the application.

I was wondering if this is because it's the express version or whether I've missed something in getting it set up.
