Multiple NET Framework versions

I have service NET Framework.2.0 Service Pack 2, NET Framework.3.0 Service Pack 2 as well as NET Framework.3.5 SP1 on my computer. Do I need to keep all these versions or can I delete the previous ones and only keep the current version?

NET Framework 3.5 SP1 also includes Framework 3.0 and Framework 2.0 with it. So if you are using Visual Studio 2008 andhave installed previous versions separately then I think you can uninstall it (from Add/Remove programs in control panel) without any problem.

But if you have Visual Studion 2005 then Framework 2.0 will be required.
