Problems deploying a web site in localhost

Using VS08, on XP, with .net framework 1.1, Icompiling a test file with a fixed text header and that is all. Compiles OK, and displays OK in debug. Deploys OK and my localhost call in firefox finds the file, but reports that
"XML Parsing Error: not well-formed"
IE reports

"The XML page cannot be displayed

Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

A name was started with an invalid character. Error processing resource "

I am not sure where to go next or what it is trying to tell me?

Hello Fred,

Maybe you can take a look at thePage Source in yourFireFoxbrowser to find out what's wrong with the page.

Besides, this forum is for Questions & Discussions regarding the Installation & Setup of the .NET Framework. So you may want to post your question at the ASP.NET - Configuration and Deploymentforum, where you can find more experts and get better support.

Best regards,

Jie
