I've tried downloading the .Net StockTrader installation package several times, but when I try to install, I keep seeing "This installation package could not be opened. Please contact the application vendor..."

I've downloaded in IE, FireFox, and Chrome, and the download behaves the same in all cases. Please advise.

BTW, there's a thread below (marked "resolved", I believe) that shows exactly the same problem. It's dated June 12 -- has this site really been broken for an entire month?

I have again put a high escalation request to the MS Download team to see why this is. I can download it now from all my computers, without issue, so its hard to repro. However, obviously something is not right on at least one download server. I will post more info when I know; I know its a a pain, re-trying the download multiple times will likely eventually work, in meantime.

I can confirm that issue. I was so annoyed that I could not get my hands on this sample. But having tried it again now, its working. Thanks for fixing the issue.

I am very glad you could download it; however, I do not believe the issue is actually fixed. People are looking at it; it seems quite sporadic; as if one or more of the replicated download sites has a corrupt file. So, I do believe that with some repeated effort (sometimes first try, sometimes a little later); you will be able to get the non-corrupt file. I know this is not good enough; so hopefully the folks looking at this will figure it out soon; its quite frustrating for me too :0(.

I am too seeing the same issue. Is this not yet fixed??
I am using Free Download Manager btw, could that be a cause?? I tried downloadingagain todaywith the same result. Please fix it at the earliest.

Update:
I now downloaded the same WITHOUT using the FDM and still it does not run. Conclusion - corrupt installer...So when will it be rectified?? Looks like this is happening from June and still not corrected...can't believe it.
