Is there tutorial on creating this application and how to extend it?

Just wondering if there's a tutorial or guide on how you created this sample application from scratch or how to extend it.

The best bet is the .NET StockTrader Overview, included in the Start menu group under .NET StockTrader--->Documentation. There are several tutorials on implementing Config Services and re-configuring StockTrader; but for the StockTrader app itself, there is not a from scratch tutorial; but a technical whitepaper that discusses the app architecture.
