Is there a Java version of StockTrader available. More specifically, is there one for Weblogic and one for WebSphere? If yes where can I download these from.

Yes. Simply download and install .NET StockTrader from the web site http://msdn.microsoft.com/stocktrader. This includes not only the .NET implementation, but also a complete WebSphere 7 implementation (including the business services and JSP web site); and WebLogic and Oracle OC4J implementations for the business services and order processing service. The .NET implementation will interop with all these Java implementations; as well as implementations done by the open source organization WSO2 (http://www.wso2.org)---a group that has also done a front end in PHP that works well with either the .NET or Java middle tiers.
