I'm findingusing Oracle with VB.Net frustrating. The VB generated Data Grids mostly don't work. Use MS SQL Server and all's OK.

All I want to do is find out how to handle dates, Nulls, etc. Anybody have sample code for this? I've got every book there is, including one claiming to be nothing but how to use Oracle with .Net. You'd think that the author might have encountered an Oracle item of datatype DATE at some point, but apparently not.

I'll stop now, before this becomes a rant.
